The common names of Scutellaria are Helmet-Flower and Skull Cap. This plant is found in Canada and United State. This was introduced by Hale and then proved by Gorde. The mother tincture is prepared from the whole plant excluding roots and dilution from it. This remedy is indicated in cases of nervous fear that predominates every thing. Nervous irritation, spasm of children during dentition, twitching of muscles, insomnia and chorea are also major indications of this remedy.
