Mind and Disposition.

Low-spirited ; fears something evil will happen.

Vexed and very angry from the least contradiction.

Head.

Dulness, does not comprehend the conversation, and is unable to relate properly in conversation.

Vertigo ; in the morning ; when rising after stooping, in the evening, when awaking with nausea and desire to vomit.

[5] Fulness and heaviness in the head, compelling to rub the forehead with the hand.

Heaviness in the forehead in the morning, as if she had not slept sufficiently.

Heat and heaviness in the forehead (afternoon).

Headache all day, in the forenoon with vomiting of bile.

Heat in the head, compelling him to seek the open air, with thirst (afternoon).

Cold water causes redness of the eyes with tension.

Burning and pressing in the eyes (in the evening).

Violent twitching in the eye, with lachrymation and difficulty of vision.

The vision is very much impaired, especially in the evening.

Objects appear too large ; the light appears double ; is surrounded by the colors of the rainbow.

[25] Objects look blue (before the right eye).

Cloud before the eyes (morning).

Stitches in the edge of the eyelids like electric sparks, worse on touching them.

Ears.

Stinging in the ears.

Sudden deafness, with roaring and humming in the ears.

Nose.

[30] Dryness of the nose.

The nose is stopped up (right side) at night.

Coryza, fluent during the day, and dry during the night.

Stinging, tearing and soreness at the root of the nose.

Redness and swelling at the tip of the nose, with burning.

Face.

[35] The right side of the face is red and hot.

Redness of the face, with burning and itching like erysipelas.

Swelling of the right side of the face, with sore throat.

The pain in the swollen face wakens him at night, it is relieved by cold.

The skin of the face is chapped.

[40] Twitching of the upper lip at intervals.

Mouth and Throat.

When the molar teeth (decayed) are sucked, a sour fetid water is drawn from them.

All the teeth feel loose and elongated.

Toothache, with tearing in the right ear.

Accumulation of thick mucus in the throat, with stinging pain.

[45] Stitches in the throat (uvula) on swallowing.

The whole throat feels sore as if ulcerated, on swallowing, worse in the morning the (right side of the) neck is very sensitive, painful to pressure.

The sore throat is worse in the evening, when talking and yawning.

Stiffness of the tongue, it is difficult to talk.

Bitter taste in the mouth in the morning.

[50] The breath is offensive, of which he himself is not aware.

Stomach and Abdomen.

Aversion to meat.

Violent thirst day and night.

Hiccough (at night).

Bitter and sour eructations.

[55] Nausea (morning).

Sensation of emptiness in the stomach, without hunger.

Pressure in the stomach, relieved by eructations.

Painful sensation of constriction of the stomach.

During stool, burning and stitches in the rectum and anus.

After stool, itching, burning and stitches at the anus.

Urinary Organs.

Increased secretion of urine.

Burning at the orifice of the urethra during micturition.

[75] After micturition, discharge of thin leucorrhoea.

Sexual Organs.

Men. Erections (after dinner).

Itching on a small spot of the scrotum, scratching dogs not relieve it.

Women. Menses too late and too scanty.

During the menses, bloated abdomen, colic, pain in the small of the back, great debility, burning of the eyes.

[80] Leucorrhoea, watery, especially after micturition.

Respiratory Organs.

Roughness in the throat, relieved by coughing.

Hoarseness, day and night ; every year at the same time.

Cough from tickling in the trachea ; in the evening, after lying down.

Dry, scraping cough, from tickling in the trachea, with sleeplessness from midnight till 4 A.M.

[85] At night violent cough, compelling one to sit up and to hold the head.

Expectoration of white mucus.

When coughing, dyspnoea and pressure on the chest.

Stitches in the chest (left side) when breathing.

Pressure and heaviness on the chest.

Back and Neck.

[90] Cracking in the neck when moving the head (forward or backward).

Pain in the neck, as from a sprain.

Stitches in the small of the back (afternoon).

Pain in the small of the back during a soft stool.

Itching and pimples in the small of the back.

Extremities.

[95] Upper. Pain in the shoulders, as if sprained.

Itching on the shoulders ; scratching does not relieve.

Rheumatic pains in the elbows, extending to the hands.

The hand feel heavy, tremble, feel bruised.

Rheumatic pains in the fingers.

[100] Lower. Itching herpes on the hips.

Stitches in the right patella.

Rheumatic pains from the knees downward.

The feet feel heavy, tremble and are weak.

Stitches in the heel of the left foot.

[105] Itching on the left heel.

Generalities.

Great restlessness ; worse at night ; is compelled to change the position continually ; with vomiting and colic after suppressed menstruation.

Great debility, especially in the evening.

Heaviness in the hands and feet, relieved by motion.

Sleep.

Sleeplessness from over-wakefulness.

[110] Feels refreshed in the morning, without having slept.

Restless sleep.

At 3 A.M., restlessness and heat ; every thing feels sore, compelling one to rise and to walk about to obtain relief from it.

Awakens after midnight with colic.

Fever.

The chill is preceded or begins with yawning and sleepiness.

[115] Chill, with chattering and shaking, followed by profuse general perspiration (in the evening in bed).

Heat in the evening followed by chill.

Continuous chill, with moist palms of the hands.

Heat, restlessness and vomiting at night (must rise).

Anxious heat with violent thirst.

[120] Dry heat with thirst, every afternoon at 3 o'clock.

Heat with perspiration and thirst, followed by chill.

Morning sweat.

Skin.

Itching ; over the whole body, but mostly on the neck, as from fleas ; not relieved by scratching, but followed by small vesicles.
