Historical dose: Trituration and all potencies, second and third trituration.

Clinical

Forgetful. Paralysis. Rheumatic pain.

Homeopathic

Hering and Hahnemann combined the two, Baryta acetica and Baryta carbonate. Hering said there is hardly any difference between the two and certainly none in the symptoms cured. Bar-a. produces paralysis beginning at the limbs and spreading upward (Con.). Pruritus of aged.

Mind

• Absent-minded.
• Forgetful.
• Foggy mind.
• Childish and stupid.
• Lack of self-confidence.
• Wavering long between opposite decisions.
• Weak mind.

Back

• Lumbago.
• Fine stitches in neck.
• Suppurating pimples.
• Spinal disease with tinea capitis.

Eyes

Immovable pupils.

Face

• Feeling of cobweb in face.
• Cadaverous pallor.
• Pale face.
• Drawn features, eyebrows rather drooping.
• Dark redness of cheeks.
• Mouth drawn to one side.

Head

Tinea capitis. Very disagreeable formication and pricking under skin of head and face.

Heart

Dull, deep sounds of heart. Pulse very small and frequent.

Kidneys

Frequent urination. When appetite improved and thirst lessened, urinary secretions became very considerable. Clear and abundant urine. Incontinence of urine and feces.

Limbs

Crawling pain with burning stitches. Paralysis of limbs. Rheumatic pain in muscles and joints. Drawing pain down whole left leg.

Liver

Sensation as of a ball in liver. Region of liver as if swollen and cold.

Rectum

Involuntary stools. Rumbling in bowels. Diarrhea. Semi-liquid stool followed by constipation.

Lungs

Breathing gradually more and more embarrassed. Imperfect and very frequent respiration. Respiratory sound almost inaudible. Inability to cough, to expectorate. Inability to articulate words.

Skin

Skin cool and rather moist. Skin covered with profuse sweat.

Sleep

Wants to sleep all the time. Restless sleep. Moaning and muttering during sleep.

Stomach

Retching. Nausea followed by sudden and very copious vomiting of bile. Severe attacks of very copious vomiting. Vomiting almost regularly every hour for twenty-four hours.

Tongue

Cold tongue, somewhat black.
