N.0. Composite. America. Tincture of fresh flower heads and young shoots.

Historical dose:Trituration, Tincture and all potencies.

CLINICAL -Allergies. Colds. Coryza. Diarrhea. Dysentery. Hay fever. Itching. Lachrymation. Nasal, congestion. Nosebleed. Sinus, congestion. Whooping cough.

HOMEOPATHIC - Ambrosia is a remedy for lachrymation, hay fever and intolerable itching of the eyelids (Euphr.). Nosebleeds. Stuffed feeling in nose and head. Some forms of whooping cough. The respiratory tract in its entire length stopped up.

Hay fever with itching, watery eyes. Sneezing to the point of nosebleeds. Hay fever with a tickling cough, can go into asthma. Allergic asthma. Severe allergies to ragweed. Reactions to allergy shots or drops for ragweed allergy. Also, as a preventative, given before ragweed season, if person has a strong history.

Good for children with non-descript stuffy noses and no symptoms or modalities (Acon.). Many forms of diarrhea, especially during summer months, also dysentery. Loose stool (Ars.).

Eyes - Redness. Smart and bum. Hay fever with itching, watery eyes. Lachrymation. Intolerable itching of eyelids.

Lungs - Respiratory tract is congested. Irritation of trachea and bronchial tubes with asthmatic attacks (Aral., Eucal.). Wheezy cough. Whooping cough.

Nose - Nasal, congestion. Allergies. Coryza. Watery coryza, sneezing, watery discharge. Hay fever. Sinus, congestion. Nosebleed. Stuffed up feeling of nose and head.

Rectum Loose stool (Ars.). Many forms of diarrhea. Summer diarrhea. Dysentery.

COMMENTS - The fresh leaves and flowers are pounded to a pulp and macerated with two parts by weight of alcohol. In the 1889 Homeopathic Recorder, Dr. C. F. Millspaugh. Wrote "Of late years much attention has been called to the species of the genus Ambrosia (the Rag Weeds) as being, through the agency of their pollen, the cause of hay fever."

Dr. E.T. Marsh and another experimenter suffered severely from symptoms of coryza and hay fever while working with the pollen of this plant. Ambrosia should therefore be of service in similar disorders.
