CLINICAL-Constipation. Coryza. Coughs. Diplopia. Flatulence. Gout. Nausea. Rheumatism. Sciatica. Vertigo.

HERBAL - Ground elder was apparently introduced to the British Isles during medieval times, when it was cultivated in monastery gardens for medicinal purposes.

The white rootstock 1s pungent and aromatic, but the flavor of the leaves is strong and disagreeable. Diuretic and sedative. 

Can be employed internally for aches in the joints, gouty and sciatic pains. And externally as a fomentation for inflamed parts.

HOMEOPATHIC - Proved in 1989 by Mattitsch on 11 persons, 5 men and 6 women. Pain in the entire right side of the body, precisely to the middle line. Great tiredness. Weariness in morning, desire to remain in bed, must force himself to get going. Weariness in evening and heaviness of eyelids.

Chilly. Disturbed sleep with frequent waking in early morning. Sudden headache, bursting pain. Heat of head and face.

Nausea and pressing, sharp pains in stomach. Nausea at night, worse turning in bed, better lying quietly. Nausea on awaking.

Intolerance to clothing due to abdominal flatulence. Offensive urine, brown like beer. Heavy sensation in arms and legs. As if limbs were filled with lead.

MIND - Difficult concentration. Absent-minded when driving. Mental confusion. Mistakes inwriting. Does not know whether he has actually experienced things or dreamed them.

Offended easily. Un yielding and resentful. Causeless anger with oneself and family. Dwells on past. Resentful about past. Aversion to company. Restless feeling in company. Resentful about things that happened in the past. Aversion to conversation.

Back - Drawing pain in scapulae as from having carried heavy loads. 

Breasts - Burning pain in nipples, nipples very sensitive to touch.

Cough - Dry, hacking cough.

Eyes - Sensation of dryness, worse draft of air. Burning pain in eyes, and dryness. Twitching of right lower lid. Diplopia, worse thinking about it and excitement, better relaxation.

Female - Burning pain in ovaries at time of ovulation. Sexual desire increased.

Food - Appetite increased. Loss of appetite. Thirst for lukewarm water. Aversion to smell of food. Aversion to smell of onions. Desires chocolate. Desires lukewarm water. Desires salt, sour, sweets. Desires for chocolate. Worse smell and sight of food. Better milk. Better eating. Better milk.

Head - Congestion to head and hot ears. Sensation as if head were filled with cot-ton. Headaches, better cold applications. Headache and sensation as if walking on cotton. Sudden headache, ceasing suddenly.

Limbs - Heaviness in legs. Tingling legs at night, worse cold, draft of air and lying down, better warmth.

Male - Sexual desire increased.

Modalities - Better eating. Better rest. Better warmth. Better motion. Worse smell and sight of food. Worse cold, cold draughts. Worse cold drinks. Worse right side. Worse morning on awaking. Worse evening. Worse pressure. Worse motion.

Mouth - Pappy taste in mouth, in morning. Salivation in morning.

Nose -Sensitive to smell of onions and food in general. Coryza, with clear discharge. Coryza with scanty discharge of white mucus, worse warm room, better cold air. Coryza with sneezing on awaking and in evening.

Rectum- Constipation, stool soft and sticky. Fatty stools.

Skin - Dry skin and desquamating. Itching.

Stomach - Nausea, better diversion, eating

and motion. Pressing pain in stomach, better milk. Nausea in morning, worse sight and smell of food. Pressing pain in stomach and nausea, better eating, better rest. Sensation of a stone after drinking.

Throat - Scraping in throat.

Vertigo - Transitory. Vertigo lying down. Vertigo better sitting.
