Infantile Cholera

Introduction

Cholera is a fatal disease which spread in summer and last of rainy season. If it is not treated on time, the victim can sleep in the lap of death too. It spreads very fast. Its virus get enter into the body through water or meal. This disease spreads from one person to another person through stale meal, sputum, vomiting, stool, worms, etc. living on dirty place, taking indigestible foodstuffs, drinking water after doing irregular labor, drinking dirty water and too much eating are the other causes of this disease.
Water should not be given to victim in cholera. Mix aniseed and juice of mint in water and give to victim for drinking. If condition becomes serious for the patient and saving the life of the victim appears impossible, boil water until it remains sixteenth portion and give to the patient for drinking by cooling. The patient should drink water in gulps. A piece of ice can be given to the victim for sucking.

Treatment of this disease by following drugs

1. Aethusa

If a child is suffering from cholera with watery, greenish or yellow stool again and again and sometimes stools is sticky or mixed with blood. The child does not able to digest milk and vomit. He feels much laziness, hot body, but the hands and legs remain cold. Thus, giving 6 or 30 potency of Aethusa to the child in the condition of such symptoms is very useful.

2. Podophyllum

If a child is suffering from cholera discharges foul-smelling motions again and again with morning aggravation, taking 6 potency of Podophyllum is very effective.

3. Kali-brometum

The powder of Kali-brometum 3x should be given to the child in the condition of becoming his/her body blue, hiccup, shivering in the hands, much laziness, lack of blood in the head, jerking in the head, feeling stretchiness, stiffness and coldness in the body, etc. drugs like- powder of Aconite-3, Croton-3, Chamomilla-6, Arsenic-3, powder of Calcarea Acetica-3, Carbo-veg-30, Ipecac-6, China-3, Veret-6, Cuprum-6, powder of Cuprum-ars-3x, Sikel-6, Sulphur-30, Rubini’s spirit-camphor, etc.
