Infantile Tuberculosis

Introduction

In this disease, glands (pills) appear in the lungs, brain or other physical organs of a child. These glands seem like yellow or smoky pieces of cheese and bacteria (tuberculous bacilli) are found in them. Phthisis occurs in the lungs when glands appear in it and if the glands appear in the brain, tubercular meningitis occurs. In this way, appearing glands in different organs of the body generates different types of diseases.

Treatment of this disease by following drugs

1. Phosphorus and Calcarea-phos

Giving Phosphorus in the condition of tuberculosis of the child is very useful. The powder of Calcarea-phos 6x should be given to the child suffering from tuberculosis in the condition of lethargy with anemia.

2. Arsenic

If the child suffering from tuberculosis feels fever, profuse sweating, watery stool, cough and intensive pain in the lungs which aggravates by movement, 6 potency of Arsenic should be taken. To get fast relief from tuberculosis, drugs like- Hepar-sulphur 6, Silicea 30, Sulphur 30, Lycopodium 12 and Iodium 6, etc. can be needed addition to drugs used. In this disease, healthy and nutritive food should be given to the child, should be kept in open and fresh air and kept in the neat and clean house.
