Vaginitis (Inflammation of Vagina)

Introduction

There are two types of vaginitis- Acute Vaginitis and Chronic Vaginitis.

Acute Vaginitis-

This disease often occurs in women due to exposing cold or fever with exposure to cold.

Symptoms

In this disease, the patient feels heaviness in her waist, thighs and hips, mucus comes out from the vagina, and she feels difficulty in urination.

Use of different drugs in this disease:-

1. Aconite

If the vagina of a woman gets swelling due to exposing cold in it or in the entire body, giving Aconite 30 is beneficial.

2. Merc-sol

If a woman is suffering from swelling in her vagina, pain, she feels as if her vagina has scratched, feels itching sensation, urine keeps on coming, etc., using Merc-sol 30 is appropriate in such symptoms.

3. Arnica

If she gets any type of hurt in her vagina as in case of delivery after giving birth to young ones or due to rape, etc., Arnica 200 should be taken.

4. Sepia

If swelling comes in her vagina due to leucorrhea, giving Sepia 200 is beneficial.

5. Cantharis

In this disease, if she feels burning sensation while urination, giving Cantharis 6 is very useful.

6. Chronic vaginitis

In this disease, the internal membrane of the vagina is turned in blue or red, she feels itching sensation inside her vagina, it becomes loose, leucorrheal secretion as white or yellow appearance keeps on coming.

Use of different drugs in this disease:-

7. Merc-sol

This drug can be taken in both acute and chronic vaginitis. In symptoms like- swelling in the vagina, pain, feeling scratch sensation in the vagina, itching, and frequent urination, etc., Merc-sol 6 or 30 should be used.

8. Sepia

It is very useful in chronic vaginitis. It can be taken as 2x potency for the treatment of this disease.

9. Borax

In the case of chronic vaginitis, if pus starts to come out in large volume from the vagina, giving Borax 2x is very useful.

10. Nitric-acid

In this disease, if pus comes out from the vagina, the patient feels burning sensation, wounds or eruptions, etc. symptoms appear, Nitric-acid 6 should be used. If a woman has suffered from this disease due to taking additional drugs having mercury in it, taking this drug eliminates all the side effects of mercury.

11. Convulsions of the vagina

In few cases, a young woman feels much sensation in the membrane that keeps the vagina as covered due to narrow mouth of the vagina, so the muscles around the vagina are contracted suddenly while sexual intercourse and it is not able to complete. It is called the convulsion of the vagina.

Use of different drugs in this disease:-

1. Plumbu

If she feels difficulty just after touching her vagina and labia, taking Plumbum 6 at an interval of every 4-4 hours is very useful.

2. Ignatia

In hysteria patient, if this disease occurs due to swelling in her vagina, Ignatia 6, 30 or 200 should be taken.

3. Silesia

If she feels any difficulty just after touching her vagina, feels any type of pain in it, feeling heaviness in section below her vagina, etc., taking Silesia 6x or 30 is beneficial.

4. Staphisagria

In this disease, if she feels pain while involving in sexual intercourse with male, giving Staphisagria 30 is beneficial.

5. Belladonna

Sometimes, this disease occurs in newly married women due to fear about sexual intercourse, she feels too troubles while sexual intercourse due to much dryness inside the vagina, etc., using Belladonna 30 is beneficial.

6. Troubles of the vagina

Sometimes, the vagina comes out with the displacement of the uterus. The pressure falling on the vagina due to swelling of the urethra or collecting solid stools in the anus is called vaginal troubles.

Use of different drugs in this disease:-

1. Sepia

If a woman feels as if all the things inside her stomach are coming out through her vagina, Sepia 30 should be used.

2. Stannum or Creosote

Both these drugs are known to be very effective in this disease. If this disease has occurred due to solid faecal materials, Stannum 6 should be given. If she feels violent itching in her vagina, sexual excitement becomes fast, etc., Creosote 6 can be taken.

3. Arnica

If this disease has occurred due to any type of injury or involving in sexual intercourse, etc., Arnica 30 or 200 should be used.

5. Ossimum-canum

If she feels as if her vagina is coming out, giving 6 or 30 is beneficial.

6. Nimphia-Odorata

It is known to be very effective in the swelling of the uterus and vagina, wounds and in displacement of it. For the treatment, 6 potency or its juice can be taken.
