Catarrh Of The Stomach

Introduction

Wounds and swelling take birth in the internal mucus membrane of the stomach caused by in the wounds in the intestines or liver or bursting of the bladder or diseases of liver, lungs and spleen. The patient suffers from fever in the beginning with the sensation of cold. Besides it, he suffers from ache in one portion of the stomach and then in whole stomach and sometimes this ache becomes so serious that the patient does not bear the presence of cloth or hand on the stomach. He feels difficulty in stretching the legs straightly. He keeps on feeling nauseating and suffers from flatulence and vomiting just after eating anything.

Treatment of this disease by following drugs

1. Carbo-veg

If gas remains fill in the upper section of the stomach, cutting pain takes place in the chest, vomiting of mucus (phlegm), etc. symptoms are found in the patient, using Carbo-veg 6 or 30 is beneficial.

2. Carbolic acid

If the patient of this disease feels pain that is moved from the middle section of the stomach to the chest, gas is filled inside the stomach, belches come, vomiting takes place too, pain takes place after filling gas in any section of the intestine, etc., using Carbolic acid 3 is beneficial.

3. Oxalic acid

If the patient feels violent pain in his stomach, sticky vomiting takes place, feels too cold, water is filled in the mouth, pain takes place with burning sensation that moves upwards, bitter and sour belches come too, etc., using Oxalic acid 6 or 30 is beneficial to cure such symptoms of the patient.

4. Antim-crude

If thick dirt is coated on the patient's tongue that is white in colour like lime, coming belches of the taste of eaten things and the corners of the mouth has crackled, etc., Antim-crude 3 or 6 should be used to cure such symptoms of the patient.

5. Hydrastis

If swelling has taken place in the internal membrane of the patient's stomach with following symptoms like- constipation, complaints of loose motions, persisting both the symptoms one after other, feeling emptiness in the stomach even after eating food, etc., using Hydrastis 30 or its mother tincture is very effective to cure such patient.
