Idiocy, Body Disordering, Catarrh With Goiter

Introduction

If the function of thyroid glands has stopped in younger age, it is called 'Goiter with idiocy and body disordering' while if it is stopped in the elder age, it is called 'Catarrh'.
If the patient is suffering from goiter with idiocy and body disordering since his childhood, this gland does not present at all or if presents, it is destroyed due to fever. If this disease originates at any place, it can affects around its places. If the patient is suffering from idiocy and body disordering since his childhood, symptoms like – improper development of the brain, affected fibers, dryness of the body skin, bad coloured face, thin muscles, swelling of the eyelids and the entire body, etc. are found in them. If this disease occurs after fever or goiter, the brain and the body of even a healthy child becomes weak slowly, the body feels laziness and symptoms like idiocy are found.

Catarrh-

Mostly, this disease occurs in elder people. This disease occurs more in men comparison to women, but this disease is not related to diseases of menstrual secretion or pregnancy. Always, it occurs in the last stage of goiter.

Symptoms

Becoming the whole body swelled, but suppressed by pressing that part with the help of finger; the body temperature fall down comparison to the normal temperature; feels too cold; loss of memory and the weakness of the brain, etc. symptoms are found in the patient. In the case of T.B. patient, symptoms of this disease appear slowly and if it is not treated well on time, it continues for a long time and in the last, the patient can die too.

Treatment:-

The secretion that secretes from the throat has suppressed and then it occurs. So, to start this secretion, use Thyridin 3x. Taking 0.30 g dosage of this drug 3 times in a day regularly is very effective.
With Thyridin, Arsenic is used in the cases of feeling much cold, restlessness, dryness of the skin, etc. Besides both these drugs, Calca-carb or Tuberculinum can be used (in the symptoms of T.B.).
In the condition of both these diseases, patient should massage his whole the body well and should put on warm clothes.
