Cystitis

Introduction

Wounds appear with pain in the urinary bladder and urinary tube due to exposure to cold in the urinary bladder, injury, stone, gonorrhea, contraction of urinary tube, inflammation of the prostate glands, etc. Sometimes urine comes with pus and blood with the feeling of fast burning sensation. Tremoring (quivering) begins in the body organs. Urine comes out with difficulty and fast burning sensation in the urinary bladder. This type of burning sensation occurring in the urinary bladder and pipe is called cystitis.

Cystitis and drugs used in it::-

1. Cantharis

Due to burning of the urinary pipe, several types of symptoms occur like- much spasm with pain in the urinary bladder and urine comes drop-by-drop, sometimes blood comes with urine in this disease with pain too, fast burning sensation occurs while urination and the patient feels as if a hot iron rod is inserted in his urinary pipe, the front part of the urinary pipe feels burning sensation with cutting pain, pain is increased after and before urination, patient feels all the time as if urinary bladder is full of urine, but a little volume of urine comes out at the time of urination, he has desire to urinate after urination, etc. Therefore, taking Cantharis 3 or 30 is very effective in the cases of such symptoms.
If patient has to wrap himself due to violent pain of the urinary bladder in the condition of such symptoms and gets relief by doing so with urination drop-by-drop, giving Apis instead of Cantharis is very effective. If the patient urinates again and again with burning sensation and cutting pain in the urinary bladder, giving Cantharis is beneficial. This drug is also beneficial in brain and lungs disease.

2. Tarentula Hispania

Due to cystitis, the symptom of fever is seen in the patient, his stomach becomes out of order and he feels fast pain in the urinary bladder due to suppression of urine, urinary bladder has become tough after swelling with the inflammation of the bladder, sometimes fast spasm occurs with burning sensation in the urinary bladder, urine does not come easily in the condition of suppression of urine and if it comes with efforts, it is black, red, brown coloured under which, particles like stone visible. The patient suffering from this disease feels much restless due to which he does able to sit on a place, he goes on changing his side too on lying down. Therefore, taking Tarentula Hispania 30 is very effective in such symptoms.

The mother tincture of Pareira Brava-

Urine comes drop-by-drop with fast pain and burning sensation in the urinary bladder. After urination, desire of urinate remains in the patient. He cries while urination due to fast pain in the urinary bladder. Thready white mucus or red sediments come with urine. At the time of urination, pain starts from urinary bladder and is multiplied (spread) gradually to the area below the thigh. Stone comes in urine with this type of pain. Therefore, taking Pareira Brava 3 or 6 or its mother tincture is very effective in such symptoms. Berberis can be also used in such symptoms. Due to disease related to prostate, if the patient has to strain for urination by sitting at knee and by putting his heat on the ground then Pareira Brava is used.

1. Apis

Urine, mixing with a little blood, comes again and again with pain and burning sensation in the urinary bladder. With excessive desire of urination, the patient feels as if urinary bladder has filled up with urine, but a little urine comes out after applying much effort while urination and sometimes, blood is also mixed in it. Therefore, Apis 30 should be taken in such symptoms.
If fast pain occurs while urination, the urethra is stimulant or urine has suppressed in sucking child, giving Apis to him/her is very useful.
Apis is also used in the following cases with the above symptoms like- feeling cutting pain as sting in the urinary bladder, swelling of the body, unbearable even a little cold or hot, feeling lack of thirst due to exposure to cold, etc.

3. Belladonna

In the condition of burning sensation in the urinary bladder, if the patient feels irritation in the urinary bladder and urethra; desire for urination goes on persisting in the patient and burning sensation goes on occurring in the urethra with dripping urine drop-by-drop; the patient is not able to bear even a little (any type) pressure around urinary bladder; he becomes angry after hearing loud noises; he feels as if a few drops of urine remain after urination and he has to apply force continuously for removing that urine; sometimes blood comes in urine or clots of blood comes out from urinary bladder; urine is much acidic; with above symptoms, the patient feels pain and gets relief from it suddenly with fever and craves for lemon, etc. Therefore, giving Belladonna 30 or 200 is very effective.

4. Aconite

If urine has suppressed due to injury in the urinary bladder or a little urine comes out by applying force at the time of urination, giving Aconite 30 is very effective in such symptoms.
If urine has suppressed due to exposure to cold; urinary bladder has become swell; cutting pain occurs in the urinary bladder with burning sensation; urine contains blood; the color of urine is red, black or clean; patient suffering from such symptoms cries before urinate, etc., Aconite 30 should be given. If patient feels thirst with these symptoms, Aconite should be used. If the patient feels restlessness and troubles with such symptoms and afraids about urination, giving Apis instead of Aconite is very useful.
If the symptoms of fever have seen with the feeling of burning sensation in the urinary pipe, Aconite should be used.

5. Sarsaparilla

If the patient feels fast pain after urination; urinary bladder becomes stimulant and soft; he is not able to urinate in sitting posture and urinate easily on standing position; urine comes out drop-by-drop when patient tries to urinate on sitting position; he goes on feeling restlessness at night due to urine, due to which he goes on changing his sides on the bed; patient urinates by standing position in day time; sometimes urine comes out by itself and sand particles comes with urine, etc., Sarsaparilla 6 should be used.

6. Tarebinthina

The patient feels fast cutting pain around his urinary bladder and navel and gets relief from pain by walking. He feels fast pain even a little touch of the section below the navel. Spasm occurs in the urinary bladder, urine comes with motion with the feeling of pressure in the urinary bladder and spasm and pain start from the urinary bladder and are moved to the area between the urinary bladder and the anus. Urine contains blood and albumina with the appearance of dusty and smoky. Therefore, giving Tarebinthina 6 is very effective. Addition to such symptoms, this drug is also very useful in the condition of becoming the tongue smooth, shiny and red with flatulence, etc.

The mother tincture of Equisetum-

This drug acts especially on the urinary bladder and cures the diseases related to it. In the case of cystitis, sometimes urine comes out by itself. Urine also comes out by itself or having troubles in old age. Feeling pain and burning sensation while urination. The patient feels as if his urinary bladder is filled with urine. Urine comes in motion and the patient does not get relief from pain. Therefore, taking Equisetum 6 or its mother tincture is very effective in such symptoms.

7. Lachesis

Several types of symptoms are occured with cystitis like- rotten smelly mucus comes with urine and due to fast pain; the patient does not bear even little touch on the stomach. He feels pain also by putting on clothes. The patient’s urine is black, brown or frothy and black particles are seen on the surface of urine. The patient feels as if any round thing is moving inside the stomach or urinary bladder. He goes on feeling urination all the time, but urine comes in little volume or does not come at the time of urination and feels fast burning sensation with urination. Loose motion is stopped due to suppression of urine. The patient has to lying down for urination. Therefore, Lachesis 30 or 200 is used in such symptoms. Addition to these symptoms, there are other symptoms also found in the patient like- talkative nature, doubt, aggravating disease by sleeping and unbearable of heat, etc. Therefore, giving Lachesis is beneficial for the patient.

8. Chimephila

Different types of symptoms are also occur with cystitis like- thread like mucus mixed with blood comes in urine; mucus, pus and dirt comes in little quantity; with cystitis, the patient always feels as if the area between the reproductive organs and the anus has become swell or any round thing has come in that area which causes suppression of urine and comes with much efforts. Therefore, using Chimephila is very effective.

9. Pulsatilla

With cystitis, the patient feels spasm and intensive pain while urination. Urine contains blood that causes much burning sensation. The urinary bladder losses its holding ability of urine due to which patient starts feeling the fast motion of urine after being gathered even little urine in the urinary bladder. In the condition of such symptoms, when patient sleeps on the back, he feels urination. Urine comes out by itself with little physical movement like- cough, sneeze, laugh, taking much, etc. Urine comes out drop-by-drop and continues for a long time as if urine of several days is coming. The urinary bladder goes on feeling spasm and feels as if the bladder has filled with urine. Urine comes out by itself at night. Therefore, Pulsatilla 30 or 200 should be taken in such symptoms.
If the patient’s urine comes in black appearance with goes on changing its color, urine contains blood; he is not able to bear even little heat, etc., use Pulsatilla. If this type of burning sensation occurs in pregnancy period, this drug is very useful.

10. Chamomilla

Urine is suppressed due to burning sensation, but the patient goes on feeling urination. In this condition, when the patient urinates, he feels burning sensation; urine is hot, dirty, contains blood and comes in a little volume. The patient craves for something with such symptoms and becomes angry if he does not get that thing, he becomes irritable temperament, and the patient’s mood (mind) goes on changing all the time. Therefore, Chamomilla 30 should be used. In the case of infantile cystitis, child craves for something else all the time when he gets that thing, he throw away after breaking it. The child remains irritate, restless and is not able to bear even a little pain. It starts crying before urination. Thus, taking Chamomilla 30 is very effective.

11. Staphysagria

In the case of cystitis, the patient urinates again and again with the feeling of pain at the time of urination. Urine contains blood, urine comes out by itself. When the area of the body comes in contact of urine, it is scratched. The patient feels fast burning sensation at the time of urination and after it. Disease is aggravated due to any type of physical movement. Staphysagria 30 should be used in such symptoms.
If the patient has become obsessed due to doing hard work or angry about his own work, he should take Staphysagria. If this type of symptom present in new married woman (neogamist), the use of this drug is very effective.
If the patient feels burning sensation before, after and at the time of urination with these symptoms, Staphysagria should be used, but

12. Arnica

If burning sensation occurs due to injury on the urinary bladder and desire for urination persists all the time in the patient, but urine goes on dripping by itself drop-by-drop. Desire for urination again and again goes on persisting, but he has to stand for a long time at the time of urination. Urine comes out by itself during sleep or due to other physical movements. In such symptoms, Arnica should be given. Besides it, blood comes due to injury of the urinary bladder and urine is concentrated and with pus. Urine comes out with burning sensation and pacific gravity is increased. Thus, Arnica 30, 200 or 1m should be given in such symptoms. With such symptoms, the patient feels body pain and pain by touching the affected (obsessed) part. He feels much restlessness. Arnica should be also given to the patient in such symptoms.

13. Petroselinum

The patient starts quivering while urination due to intensive pain and he goes on knocking his legs on the ground. He feels urination suddenly. When such symptoms have occurred in the the patient of piles, he feels fast itch in warts. Therefore, the patient should take Petroselinum.

14. Merc-cor

Urine comes out drop-by-drop in a little volume with fast pain and burning sensation, blood also comes with urine. Spasm (cramp) generates in the urinary bladder, mucus and blood come out at the time of urinate or after urination. Patient feels spasm (torsion) at the time of loose motion that contains blood. Saliva comes in the mouth while urination, the skin becomes yellow and cold, profuse sweat with giving relief. Therefore, using Merc-cor 30 is very effective in such symptoms.

15. Dulkamara

If this disease has occurred due to hot and cold especially after wetting in the rain in the summer, Dulcamara is used. In the case of cystitis occurred due to above reasons, several types of symptoms occur like- feeling urination again and again due to rainy season, the patient feels too hot in day time and much cold at night, blood also comes with urine due to exposure to much cold with profuse sweating. Therefore, giving Dulkamara 30 is very useful in such symptoms of the patient.

16. Causticum

Due to cystitis, the patient feels all the time as if a little urine remains. In such condition, patient has to go for urination again and again. Urine comes out in a little volume with difficulty. He has to apply effort (force) for urination and urine comes out after sitting for a long time. Urine is suppressed due to cold. The front part of the urethra feels itch. Therefore, taking Causticum 30 is very effective is such symptoms. The main reasons of occurring such symptoms are- disordering of the glands responsible for removing urine (urination) or contraction of the urethra. Due to such reasons, either urine comes out by itself or suppressed completely. Sometimes, the urinary bladder is stopped functioning due to having suppressed urine. Thus, using Causticum is beneficial.

17. Sepia

This drug is more useful in the case of female systitis. The urinary bladder has no ability to hold urine due to which, the patient starts to feel urination again and again. If this disease occurs in a woman, she goes on looking at the area around the vagina, because urine comes out by itself after a little physical movement. Due to unability to hold urine in the urinary bladder, urine comes out even by laughing, speaking loudly, coughing or sneezing. White sediments come in urine that is thickened under the surface of urine. In the case of female cystitis, the motion of urine is as fast as if the womb will comes outside. Therefore, using Sepia 200 is very effective in such symptoms. Sometimes, the motions of urine is as fast as patient has to go immediately for urination with the feeling of pain like knife cut and cold in whole body. In such symptoms, giving this drug is very useful. Addition to these symptoms, patient feels sadness, restlessness, discourage, shrinking stomach. He likes to live alone and appeaing blackish yellow spots like horse saddle on the face from nose to cheek. Therefore, Sepia 200 should be used in such symptoms.

18. Lycopodium

Taking Lycopodium 30 or 200 is very effective in the condition of coming sand particles with urine; coming milky, smelly, dirty urine that contains pus; feeling heaviness in the urinary bladder; having the desire of urination all the time; little volume of urine comes out after sitting for urination for a long time; give support at the time of urination, etc.
In the case of children, sand particles come in its urine. Urine comes out by itself in the night. In day time, urine comes in less volume or in normal volume and he/she cries loudly before urination. If urine touched on his skin then he/she feels irritation. Thus, give Lycopodium to him/her in such symptoms.
With such symptoms, if the physical growth of the children is stopped, but mental growth goes on, the patient wants to eat hot eatables and is satisfied after eating little, gas presents in the stomach, etc., giving Lycopodium 30 or 200 is very effective in such symptoms.

19. Tuberculinum

The patient should use Tuberculinum 1m in cystitis.
