Albuminuria

Introduction

The kidneys play an important role in the body. It absorbs essential (necessary) elements from water inside the body and sends to the different organs of the body with removing waste materials (particles) out from the body. When the kidneys get swelling, it becomes unable to do its work properly, due to which, essential elements are also begin to come out with urine. In the condition of chronic burning sensation of the urinary glands, albumen begins to come out with urine which is called ‘Albuminuria’. The swelling of the kidneys is called ‘Nephritis’ or ‘Bright’s’. In this disease, the body begins to get swelling due to coming out albumina in urine. Other types of symptoms start to occur in the patient suffering from this disease like- fever, over thirst, nauseate, desire for urination again and again, profuse urination that contains white materials like an egg, hands, legs and face become swell, blood begins to decrease in the body, swelling appears and diseases related to the brain or the liver start occurring and blood comes in urine.
If this disease in not treated on time, it becomes dangerous and at last the patient is died. In such symptoms, homoeopathic drugs are used to cure that patient. To cure this disease, drugs like- Apis, Aconite, Cannabis Satieva, Cantharis, Arsenic, Sulphur and Merc-cor, etc. are mainly used.
The main reasons of occurring this disease are- coming fever again and again, feeling burning sensation in the body, leucorrhea, chronic disease of intestines, indigestion due to disordering the digestive organs, taking bath with cold water for a long time, etc.

The drugs used in the condition of coming albumina in urine:-

1. Apis

When albumina level is increased in the patient’s urine, the whole body of the patient becomes swell especially the face. The upper eyelids become swell; he starts feeling over thirst with profuse sweating. Thus, taking the lower potency of Apis or its mother tincture is very effective.

2. Aconite

Giving Aconite 3 is very useful in the initial stage of albuminuria (coming albumen with urine).

3. Cannabis Satieva

If the patient is suffering from albuminuria for a long time, he should take Cannabis Satieva 3 or its mother tincture.

4. Cantharis

Taking Cantharis 6 or 30 is very useful for the patient suffering from this disease with occurring other symptoms like- coming out urine drop-by-drop that contains blood with the feeling of burning sensation; occurring violent burning sensation or slight irritation after urination; sometimes coming the membrane of the urinary bladder with urine, etc.

5. Arsenic

Arsenic 30 or 200 should be taken in the beginning of this disease with the symptoms like- swelling of the eyelids, the entire body, hands and legs; coming cold sweat on the body, however the patient feels burning sensation; restlessness; weakness; violent thirst at little interval, etc.

7. Sulphur

If pus has produced in the urinary bladder and the bladder has become weak, Sulphur 30 is used in such symptoms. It is also appropriate to give Lycopodium in such symptoms.

8. Merc-cor

If albumen comes out with urine (albuminuria) due to swelling of the urinary bladder in pregnancy period, taking Merc-cor 30 is very effective.

9. Cock’s Lymph

Giving Cock’s Lymph 6 is very effective in the condition of coming albumen in urine (albuminuria).

10. Acon

Acon 3x should be taken in the beginning of albuminuria.

11. Acid-phos or Helonium

If the patient feels neuralgic stimulation with this disease, using Acid-phos 2x or 3 or Helonium 3x is very effective.

12. Lyco-Terebinth

If albumen comes in urine due to obsessed of the urethra, taking Lyco 6 or Terebinth 3 is very useful.

13. Apocynum

If albumen comes with urine (albuminuria) due to swelling of the urethra or any other disease, use the mother tincture of Apocynum.

14. Ars

If albumen comes with urine and the patient feels laziness, restlessness, nervousness, violent thirst, cold body but hotness inside it, etc., taking Ars 3x or 30 is very effective.

To cure this disease completely, other drugs like- Apis, Arg-nit, Arum, Canth, Lache, Sulph, etc. can be needed with above said drugs.

15. Milk

In the case of albuminuria, milk should be drunk. It provides benefits. Taking salt is also very useful in this disease. It is also beneficial to put on woollen clothes and wiping the body well with a towel while taking bath. Taking meat, fish and stimulant is harmful.
