Perichondritis

Introduction

There are two types of bones present in the body- bones and cartilages. The bones which have calcium in less quantity with flexibility are called cartilage as- ribs. The outer membrane of these bones is called ‘Perichonidrium’. If these bones get hurt by anyway or pain occurs due to disease, it is called perichondritis. Mostly, it occurs in the ribs, but can also occur in small cartilage like- knee, hand, etc. This type of pain is not as same as pneumonia, but only ribs pain.

Treatment of this disease by following drugs

1. Belladonna

If the patient feels pain like scratching in the ribs, burning sensation with pain, gnawing pain, decreasing pain completely and suddenly went away, etc., for the treatment of such syptoms, taking 30 potency of this drug is beneficial.

2. Ruta

If the patient has following symptoms like- pricking pain, cutting pain, pain with burning sensation, pain as if rubbing has occurred; with these types of symptoms, stiffness occurs in the wrist and fingers with pain, pain also occurs in the leg bones and ankles, etc., to cure such symptoms of the patient, using 6 potency of this drug is beneficial.

3. Oleander

If pain is occurring in the chest with this disease, for the treatment of it, using Oleander 3 or 30 is beneficial.

4. Angschura

cont If the patient feels pain by touching his obsessed part due to swelling in the perichonidrium and pain becomes unbearable (violent) by touching, for the treatment of such symptoms, 6 potency of this drug should be used. ain

5. Plumbum

Pain starts in the cartilage of the hand due to any reason, sometimes the wrist is hanged, pain starts in the big toes of the right leg at night, etc., taking Plumbum 3 or 30 is very useful to cure such symptoms of the patient.

6. Chamomilla

If pain is occurring in the ribs of the chest at the time of inhaling, for the treatmet of this symptom, using Chamomilla 30 is very effective.

7. Actaea Racemosa

If the patient is feeling pain in the ribs of the section below the chest and is aggravating by inhaling, for the treatment of such symptoms, using 3 potency of this drug is beneficial.

8. Argentum Metallicum

If the central part of both the chest has contrated inwards with pain that is sometimes decreased and sometimes cured, 6x potency of this drug is used for the treatment of that patient.
