Treatment & Remedy Guidelines
Introduction
In women, menstruation starts in the age of 13-14 years and stops in the age of 44-45 years. The stopping of menstruation is called menopause. Menopause in women also means that the reproduction period of them is finished or they can not give birth to young ones.
Symptoms
In the symptoms of menopause, menstruation becomes irregular as sometime it comes and sometime does not come; sometimes it comes in little volume and sometimes it comes in large volume; her face and neck become red with profuse sweating; she feels so hot; becomes sleepless at night; feels restlessness; she becomes irritable temperament; feels much difficulty while sexual intercourse.
Use of different drugs in the case of menopause:-
1. Lackesis
Lackesis 6 is known to be very useful in this stage. It also acts better in symptoms like- frequent fever, feeling hotness in the body, sweating, burning sensation in the head, aggravating the symptoms of disease after going to bed, etc.
2. Jaborandi
If she has been suffering from profuse sweating or saliva, giving 2x potency of this drug is beneficial.
3. Glonayon
If she feels violent headache, 3 potency of this drug should be given.
4. China
If she feels violent burning sensation in her forehead, China or Ferrum 6 can be given.
5. Hydrocyanic-acid
If she feels emptiness in her duodenum, giving 6 potency of this drug is very useful.
6. Kalli-carb
If she has been suffering from sleeplessness, something round presents inside her throat, etc., taking Sulphur 30 or Ignatia, Simisiphuga, Ballerina 3 is very effective.
In addition to them, Sepia or Calcarea 30 can be also given.
Important tips:-
During menopause, a woman should take enough rest and she should remove all worry from her mind.
She should take exercise and practice yoga daily; it makes the body as active and healthy and also controls her weight.
She should check up her uterus regularly from a doctor.
She should take vitamin āEā enough in her diet daily.
Precautions:-
During menopause, she should take bath with lukewarm water daily.
Easily digestible food should be taken in her diet.
She should go to bed on time daily and should do hard work.
