Consulting A Doctor

Introduction

In India, normally, delivery process is completed by drugs at home or also by an expert woman (midwife). In villages, there is no need of a doctor for delivery now a day too. When a doctor should be called is described below-

In pregnancy-
If the embryo is not in right position inside the uterus of a pregnant; she is suffering from swelling of her hands and legs, syphilis, gonorrhea, profuse bleeding, additional vomiting, etc., a doctor should be called in such symptoms.

During labor-
If profuse blood has come out during labor; the perineum of delivery path or central place of the anus bursts; if only a hand or leg comes out from delivery path; pain is stopped, when the navel tube is wrapped around the baby neck; she becomes motionless due to delivery pain; baby does not come even after an hour of discharging water; delayed delivery; she feels frequent unconsciousness or stiffness, etc., a doctor should be consulted.

After delivery-
If the placenta (phool) does not come out after an hour of delivery and she is suffering from severe fever, shivering, offensive secretion, the swelling of the breasts, profuse bleeding, etc., a doctor should be called.

Newly born baby-
If a woman feels chocked breathing process, the body is turned as blue, burning in the eyes, diseases related to the anus, urethra or the mouth, etc., a doctor should be called immediately.
